Carlo L'Chelle Dawson is driven to motivate, to uplift, and to inspire students to maximize their full potential. Mrs. Dawson is a graduate of College of Charleston with a Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Lesley University. She is an author, a master storyteller, dramatist, arts integration specialist, motivational speaker, an educator for 15+ years, and a community activist. Carlo leads Creative Writing classes and workshops with groups of all ages. Carlo currently serves as the Chair for the Community Relations Council of Rock Hill, the events chair for Juneteenth Rock Hill, Inc., and is the founder of PROGENY, a multicultural service organization for high school students in which she has created a curriculum for diversity and inclusion.
