PLLs are a form of non-traditional, job-embedded staff development. PLLs are a powerful way to not only engage teachers in reflection and best practice, but also to engage students in learning provided in a format that is both collaborative and co-taught. Participants will be provided steps to implement, tools for self-reflection, and classroom examples. PLLs provide a safe space to collaborate and experiment with teaching and learning that may be overwhelming otherwise. This session will give you guidance on how to move forward in meaningful ways. No matter what role or position you are in you will leave with specific ideas for implementing Professional Learning Labs at your school.
